WGST 20003: Introduction to Women and Gender Studies

Tiffany is originally from New Orleans, La., and moved to Dallas, TX in 2005. She is a mother of three and grandmother of four. Just as important, Tiffany is a Horned Frog. She began her journey at TCU in 2012 as a non-traditional transfer student graduating with a B.S. in Combined Science (Biology and Psychology) and with minors in Women and Gender Studies and Religion in 2015. She went on to earn her M.A. degree in Theology and Ministry and a graduate certificate in Women and Gender Studies from Brite Divinity School in 2017.
That same year, Tiffany joined the Women and Gender Studies department as an adjunct professor teaching Intro to WGST until becoming the Visiting Lecturer in Women and Gender Studies in the fall of 2021. She is the only person to minor in WGST, earn a graduate certificate and teach in the Women and Gender Studies department.

Tiffany has served at The Net of Fort Worth as a mentor to women being rehabilitated out of human trafficking, teaching them how to have healthy relationships. She also serves with the Women of Wisdom, Worth and Wealth, an organization that empowers businesswomen to be their best selves mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

Tiffany’s desire is to continue to empower women and youth. Tiffany uses her classroom as a brave space where we can learn from one another’s lived experience fostering an environment where diversity, equity and inclusion are of the highest regard, taught in a spirit of love.
