A political scientist by training, Dr. Green has been involved in Women and Gender Studies since its inception in 1994 – her first semester at TCU. She has served as the past program director and was the director of our Institute on Women and Gender. She teaches classes in gender and politics, campaigns and elections, and American politics. Her research explores the importance of gender in American politics and political representation, and she has held a variety of leadership positions at TCU. Her most cherished professional award was being named a Vagina Warrior in 2005 for her role in first bringing the Vagina Monologues to campus and helping raise money to fight violence against women.
