The 2018 Claudia V. Camp Faculty Research Award Winner, Dr. Charlotte Hogg (English), sat down to recap her research on sorority rhetorics. More specifically, Dr. Hogg’s research considers foundational sorority practices (such as teaching histories to new members, commemoration ceremonies for collegians/alums, and recruitment) demonstrate purposeful rhetorical work that influences values, particularly in terms of power and privilege.
