Pitch Your Passion

The IdeaFactory is located on the first floor of Rees-Jones #101.  We’re the cool looking glass room with sticky notes and posters on the wall. If you can’t find us, Contact us! ideafactory@tcu.edu or ext 4913

You can pitch your idea to us any Friday at 2:30pm! We accept projects at any level whether that be fully completed and in need of refinement, or simply an idea floating around in your head. Contact us to schedule. ideafactory@tcu.edu or ext 4913

COVID-19, if anything, has made us more nimble and entrepreneurial . We are now able to reach more students at more times. We still book online pitches at 2:30pm on Fridays. Through these virtual sessions we have been able to effectively run ideation sessions and teach groups how to prototype. Don’t let your distance be a deterrent.

Simply put, the IdeaFactory serves as the campus hub for innovation and creativity for social impact. While we have many relationships with specific schools on campus, we do not turn students away or put on an intimidating front for those who may otherwise be completely new to the world of innovation. The IdeaFactory seeks to teach students human-centered design, prototyping through UX/UI, ideation, and effective problem solving. The IdeaFactory uses hard-skills like Adobe XD, Figma, Design Sprints, 3D-printing, and Wireframing to produce hi & lo-fidelity mock-ups and presentable prototypes to help students visualize and bring their idea to life.
