CRES Student Research and Creativity Symposium

The Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies (CRES) Department is holding a Student Research and Creativity Symposium on April 15th.

We want to highlight the wonderful accomplishments of our students in meeting our mission to:

“Encourage students to critically examine racial and ethnic identities as an essential step in becoming ethical citizens and leaders in today‚Äôs global community. In addition to examining the experiences of marginalized communities in the U.S. and beyond, to encourage students to explore race and ethnicity as active social, political, historical and cultural processes and use race and ethnicity as categories of analysis across time and space.”

Students can sign up to have their work included in this event by submitting their work via the links below. Your work will also be considered for the following award categories:

Community Engagement Award

Creative Activity Award

Undergraduate Research Award

Graduate Research Award

Application submissions for these awards are due on March 31st.
